My experience learning english.

Hello to my followers today I will tell you about my experience learning english.

My experience in English at the university was very entertaining, when I was little and I had my first English classes the teachers they were screaming and that scared me but once I got to university that fear was overcome because my teachers took care of I wear a lot of patience and affection. With respect to blogs I always liked to write a lot because is wonderfull share my experiences with the rest of the world and also learn from the rest of my classmates and friends.

During this time I feel that I learned a lot, now I am able to read texts about my university career and understand the content, even so I feel that I still have a lot to learn and that I still have things that cost me, for example, to talk or listen to audios engravings.  With regard to my future, I plan to take a english course to perfect myself and someday be able to go to other countries where it is spoken

English to continue learning about trees and plants (Forestry Engineering). 

I never liked to think that English was the universal language and that for this reason I had to learn it (since the scientific articles more important that it is in English) because it made me feel that my native language was losing importance, but with the passage of time I am realized that it was important because it is a form of communication and is present in our life, for example in films, texts, even walking down the street you can find a person who needs help and only understands this language.

The changes that could be made to my study programme.

Hello to my followers today I will tell you about The changes that could be made to my study programme.

My career is called Forestry Engineering and is characterized by the others because every year we have practical in the summer, the practices are great, you learn a lot but the big problem is that the things that we do there are things that teach us the following year so the contents are not compatible.

I think that 5 years of career is good to learn all about the vegetation, the problem is the extensive periods of classes of each day, and the distribution of the calendar very irregular way since there are days too many exhausting.

One of the things I love about this faculty are its facilities, for me I think it does not generate problems above all I like Arauco Pavilion because "Tío Antonio" cares about keeping the rooms cool in summer and hot in winter, it really is wonderful! but when we have classes in the agronomy rooms is very sad because in winter they are very cold and only some of them have heating, in summer it is good because the rooms are very fresh.

Finally I say that the technology of the university is good, we can borrow computers just showing our TUI card in addition to access to a laboratory and measurement tools in our practices, with respect to teachers I think some should be more objective in their evaluations because we study many and they give us bad marks for not answering what they want. (u.u)

My Experience Making The Herbarium

Hello to my followers today I will tell you my experience making the herbarium.

The herbarium is an activity carried out by the first year student of Forestry Engineering of the University of Chile and consists of collecting vegetation samples (ideally 20 native and 10 exotic) and pressing them to make them into file, added to this must be added the coordinates of the place, the person who found and recognized the sample, the scientific name and the family of said tree.

I prefer to say that my experience was quite great, I spend very well looking for species in hills and parks but I must admit that as time went by and less was left for the delivery of the herbarium I was very stressed, I thought I would not finish it and I would get a bad mark.

The places that visited were the hill "La Punta", the nursery of Graneros, the Cajón del Maipo, squares and houses of neighbors. Generally I went out with my family to look for species since as I live in another region my classmates were far away to go out as a group to collect.

In doing my herbarium take me about 7 months because I took care of having species that bloomed at different times of the year (autumn, winter and spring). I really enjoyed doing my herbarium, thanks to that I learned a lot about plants.

My Postgraduate Studies

Hello to my followers today I will tell you about my Postgraduate Studies.

As I said in previous blogs the reason for studying forest engineering is because I really like ornithology (the study of birds).

I still do not know very well that postgraduates are related to birds but I have decided that this is my choice.

I chose this option because I feel a commitment to the birds, since always wanted to take care of them and protect them, and I think this is the right way to help these animals with feathers. The topics that I would like to study within my subject of postgraduate degree would relate mainly to questions.

What are birds, what is the relationship of birds and humans, how to conserve the habitat of birds, etc. I think with this knowledge

you can generate awareness in people.

I would like to take this course in Chile, specifically at the University of Chile, with classroom classes and outings to learn from the

native animals of my country and do studies related to them. In the not too distant future I want to belong to the Union of Ornithologists of Chile and fulfill my dream of following the steps of my example to follow: Professor Cristián Estades.

My Future Job

Hello to my followers today I will tell you my future work.

In the future I am working on something related to my career: Forestry Engineering. I would like to work in the agricultural and livestock service (SAG), specifically in the area related to birds, I want to work on related projects the conservation of birds and generate awareness in people to take care of them and learn to live with them.

As for my work I would like to travel as much as possible to know the largest number of birds and thus expand my knowledge in this area regardless of whether you are in or out of Chile, so I think my salary should be relatively high to pay for travel expenses, since not everything will be for work, many of these trips will be learning more.

To comply with all of the above I must finish my degree in Forestry Engineering first, I would like to study higher studies related to forestry, but above all in the habitat of birds and their way of life. More than knowing the anatomy of the birds I want to know about your house.

As an interesting fact I would like to save the Arica hummingbird because it is in danger of extinction.

Independence Day of Chile

Hello to my followers today I will tell you about the Independence Day
this day is celebrated every year on September 18  where the first national government meeting took place and is recognized as one of the first events that finally achieved the independence of Chile.
My family and I are of Chilean nationality for what we celebrate this day, we usually visit on different days my grandparents, one day my grandparents paternos and another day my maternal grandparents, we like to do things like empanadas, roasts, salad Chilean, dance Cueca, it's funny because every year I have to teach Cueca because my family forget how to dance. I do not like going to the fondas, it's a place I hate a lot I think it's because my mother always spoke badly about them besides that there are a lot of people who are drunk.
This September 18 for me was different because for the first time I went to the parade of my city, I was very happy because they honored my brother because he decided to do his thesis of magister based on the hill that is here in Graneros collaborating with the patrimony of this city.

My Favorite Food

Hello to my followers today I will tell you about the My Favorite Food.

This is puree with meat, I really love this food dish especially the one prepared by my mother because she cooks with a lot of love for us as well as she knows it is my favorite dish always prepares it on important days so it is still more special (not something I usually eat). A long time ago my mother taught me to cook this and other dishes so that I can continue with the tradition, although we like to grind the potatoes accompanied with pumpkin, it is like our own style. Puree with meat is a dish from America, this is due to the simple fact that the potato comes from this place.

I usually prefer junk food but after consuming so much fat my body asks me to eat something healthy to take stock, it is a sin that junk food is so delicious. I also prefer sweet food because for some reason it makes me feel happy its good taste...
